Join us at the next Philosophy of Ed Meet-up

We had some really great conversations at the last meet-up, and I would love to keep building momentum in this group. This month’s meet-up is on a Monday night in the hope that even more of you can attend.

  • Who can come? Current students, former students, and anyone interested in discussing the complexities, beauty, and struggles that go along with teaching and learning
  • Where? Panera Bread in Midtown Village: 1800 McFarland Blvd.
  • When? October 17th @ 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
  • What will we discuss? That’s up to you! Have you found something in a blog post or from the media that you find interesting or perplexing? Do you have a recent teaching/schooling experience that you’d like to discuss with a group of future teachers? Perhaps you want to explore more extensively a topic that we talked about in class, or maybe you just want to speak with some people who are also preparing to enter the classroom. This is an open forum, and the agenda is all yours.
  • What if I need a ride? If you’d like to join us, but you need a ride, send me an email so I can help you arrange a carpool.

If you’re going to attend and you’d like us to hold a seat for you, please RSVP by clicking on this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SQ77XQ8

I hope you are all well, and I looking forward to catching up with you soon!

  • What will we discuss? Well, I’ll leave that up to you! Have you found something in a blog post or from the media that you find interesting or perplexing? Do you have a recent teaching experience that you’d like to discuss with a group of future teachers? Perhaps you want to explore more extensively a topic that we talked about in class, or maybe you just want to speak with some people who are also preparing to enter the classroom. This is an open forum, and the agenda is all yours.
  • What if I need a ride? If you’d like to join us, but you need a ride, send me an email so I can help you arrange a carpool.
